Sad truth is that we had this virus under control in April due to a excellent vaccine rollout in the US and all we had to do was follow the science. Instead here we are facing perhaps another economic slow down which will eventually affect mostly the antivaxxers. Its going to be very very difficult to find or hold on to jobs if you are not vaccinated.

A few months back when I posted on AK that private industry will demand that their employees are vaccinated, the antivaxxer crowd there in unison said NFW. Nary a word from that crowd now and I specifically cited that employers by law need to provide a healthy workplace, individual freedom be damned and is not applicable.

Heard that one already yesterday.... "Allowing all the aliens crossing the boarder and setting free into the country were the ones bring in the ""delta""....


Just heard the one Grandson will be coming over tomorrow staying for a quarantine.
The school is now going to mandate masks on Monday.

The state seems to be backtracking their flawed stance of the last word for schools on wearing of masks. Other county schools are mandating masks now too.

They will have two weeks of homework for him to do while here.
Better then nothing .....

Seems red state school districts, who are a lot closer to the people they have to answer to, are realizing that the light up ahead isn't the end of the tunnel but the Delta variant bearing down on them. Seems like there are school districts in Floriduh willing to call 'Rona-Ron DeathSantis' bluff.

ONE DAY IN!!!!

Yes one day of one Grandson staying at our house due to quarantine for C-19 exposure at school.....

To just hear the school will NOW be closed indefinitely for everyone......

So now both will be at our home for the duration. Doing assigned homework packages they are assembling as I type.

What are parents who have nowhere to send their kids to do?

Well it was quicker then I expected......

This morning one of the Grandsons woke up with a sore throat. Slight fever........
A case of the ol trotts ....

He is the one who came on Tuesday to stay with us when the school was closed.

So awaiting the tests to come back now.

Both are back at their own home for now.

The school board had a meeting last night and the ""idiots"' were out in droves yelling and complaining out losses of "freedom"...
