Averages about 99 cents Canadian per litre for regular. At 3.85 litres per US Gallon that comes to about $3.80 a gallon Canadian. The exchange rate while I was there was roughly $1.25 Canadian to $1.00 U.S. So the cost was roughly $3.00 US per Gallon. Just before I crossed the border I filled up in Calais Maine for $2.20 per gallon.
In New Brunswick and Nova Scotia I found that the roads were better and well maintained and traffic was light, in spite of it being the height of the tourist season. I would be happy to pay an extra buck a gallon if I could have their roads and lack of traffic congestion.
