BTW, Your credentials on this subject don't exactly fill a binder.
Look DJ, after your antics last night, you've given up any right to lecture me on anything. Go herd some scorps and tarantulas bubeleh.

Live & let live my little friend. I feel that we all can be included in your lectures & posts on the environment. You should try to help the planet & I can help you little buddy.

I just spent 20 min watching that video, love TED talks. I knew my lawn would save the world.

I know it's boring, but the carbon numbers are telling. We could shut the world down and nothing will change. Biomass is the only way to bring carbon back into balance.
Thank you for watching it. It's one of my missions in life.

I find them more intriguing then boring. I watch TED talks on my Roku player all the time and never saw this one. It makes sense that reducing GHG is only a part of reversing what is going on. There is no denying that fossil fuel reduction is extremely important but it's only a piece of the puzzle. Reversing the process is clutch.

Exactly. It drives me crazy when people talk about this subject because it's become nothing but political B.S. The right claims that we are the only ones trying...that is not true. The Chinese know what the problem is and have been fighting desertification with a vengeance and nobody knows or cares.
Biomass storing and transpiring water, shading the ground to protect top soil, and storing carbon is the simple & only solution.
Too bad it's going to be a tremendous amount of hard work, even with the world on board.

So this means if I let my lawn go an extra week, I'll help save the world?

Regards,

You have to sequester the carbon afterwards, too. I recommend putting the clippings in a plastic bag and sequestering them in a landfill.

Better chance than Obama's plan. You can bet the farm on that.

I sequester mine in a huge pile behind the shed. Makes great top soil for the next year gardens.
