Yes the Holocaust has certainly fostered a certain defensiveness in Jews, understandably so. Problem is that many Jews have seemingly lost the ability to put the shoe on the other foot in the process.

Even Christians in Jerusalem can be raucous though . Jut heard a story today about how there was such a falling out between Greek and Armenian monks at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher they beat each other senseless putting monks from both sects in the hospital. Even people of the same religion can't agree to share a supposedly 'holy' place, small wonder that Jews, Christians, and Muslims can't seem to share a 'holy' land.

I'd like to see yahu push the button on "I hocked my dinner jackets" ass. Turn the whole piece of shit country into a sheet of glass with a big oil well right in the middle. One can dream.

The irony is that a lot of Israelis who had fought to secure the "land" now find theselves priced out of it.
