Some very interesting news about the confederacy today. Science attempting to explain historical facts. Very different thing than statues celebrating historical figures.

As a Civil War history buff, I've read Raising the Hunley and went to visit the Hunley museum in Charleston in February. I highly recommend both the book and the visit. Any excuse to go to Charleston is a good excuse.

Charleston is a Lost Cause celebration for many of its visitors. First time I went there the team stayed at the Citadel Embassy Suites. Made sure I had a first floor room.

You sure are slow on the uptake. I'm goading you. I don't care the slightest bit for UVA football. For me (a VT grad), they're the enemy. One of the few things I dislike more than UVA football is NeoNazis. I'm funny that way.
