I have a question about that. I'm assuming this doesn't include photos that are shared via the picture link and insertion of a URL since I see no option to resize a photo. Or am I missing a feature of the software we use here?

You'll have to resize it yourself. I use Paint for instance or you can find a smaller version.

I've been guilty of this? I had no idea. But like I said...just post the link and I don't have to worry about it.
