A federal appeals court in San Francisco upheld a $25 million settlement Tuesday to students of the now-defunct Trump University, who said they were charged up to $35,000 and promised the secrets of real estate success but were given little more than sales pitches to take more seminars.

The settlement of two class-action suits and a third suit by the state of New York against Donald Trump’s school was reached six weeks after the 2016 presidential election and was approved by U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel of San Diego.

President Trump has agreed to pay the settlement, but after Curiel refused to dismiss the suit in July 2016, because of his plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Trump University began operations online in 2005, started holding in-person seminars in 2007 and was shut down by New York, its headquarters state, in 2010.

Hmmm, how about a multi-billion dollar class-action lawsuit against him for lying to the American people? Plenty of evidence. Every. Single. Day.

As usual, a voice of reason from the right, Jennifer Rubin.

"And second, is Trump unaware of the existing holidays — full days of tribute — which the country uses (Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Armed Services Day) to pay tribute to the finest fighting force the world has ever known? Surely he must recall events held on these days during his first year in office. Perhaps Trump needs to play less golf and spend these days attending existing tributes to our armed forces in ways that highlight them and their sacrifices. His attendance at a series of these celebrations in each year of his presidency would surely call the public’s attention to these fine men and women."

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—The Pentagon has turned down Donald J. Trump’s request for a grand military parade in Washington, D.C., citing a sudden outbreak of bone spurs that would prevent men and women in uniform from participating.

Harland Dorrinson, a Pentagon spokesman, said that, within an hour of Trump’s request, more than a hundred thousand military personnel complained that they were suffering from acute cases of bone spurs that would make marching in such a parade a painful ordeal.

“In the history of the U.S. military, we have never experienced a bone-spur epidemic of this magnitude,” the spokesman said. “Regrettably, however, we have no choice but to issue thousands of deferments.”

A statement from the bone-spur sufferers said that they would continue to valiantly serve their country around the world in a non-marching capacity, and offered an alternative to their participation in Trump’s proposed pageant.

“President Trump is welcome to march in the parade all by himself if he would finally like to enlist,” the statement read.

Love it.

I am quite worried about this here parade of all parades that Trump has ordered the Military to organize. Of course they will have to come up with a parade of sorts since he is the CIC. Lack of money could have been used as an excuse but the just announced budget compromise plan by Mitch & Chuck gives the military another $80 Billion or so and they better spend it before they lose it or misplace it like the $800 Million that has gone missing.

Here is a picture for Trump's Generals to outperform since this was staged for Little Rocketman Kim. Do they have a space large enough in DC for a formation to depict the US Flag? There are a lot of ideas presented on Twitter and hope Trump is reading them with keen interest.
