Once again you are talking about land mass and not people. If 80% of the people are in urban areas, that only leaves 20% for the "other." It's simple math - unless you are saying people in urban areas are not as important as those who live outside of them.

Are you suggesting that to make America great again, we have to go back to the time when only property owners could vote?

I'm sure you would look at it that way if you lived in an urban area.
Or, if this election didn't suit you.

But, if you read the Federalist Papers there was a lot of discussion, disagreement, underlying reasoning etc. for why they did it this way.

The basic reasoning by Madison was that there was a mix between the popular vote rights and the states rights since the original idea was based on a republic.

At any rate, it is what it is. If you want to change it you need to change the constitution.


Also, they do call this place the United States for a reason. Let a handful of population centers control it completely and see how united it stays.
