No I am asking why did the FBI announce new findings/investigation now.

As far as I know, there are no hearings scheduled. This is an announcement of emails related to Clinton which came to light during an ongoing investigation into Weiner's sexting of an underage girl.

I find the timing very suspicious. It should be remembered that Comey is both a Republican and a Bush appointee.

Yeah, I guess being a Repub and a Bush appointee was why Comey was willing not to prosecute this the first time, even though he said that the evidence was damning. Maybe when he closed the investigation, what he really meant to say was that no reasonable Democrat prosecutor would bring a case against the Hildabeast.

much ado about nothing I suspect. HRC may bend the law but she is mindful of how far it is bent and in what direction.
