I think there are at least two theories that still have some followers even with the autopsy results-

One assumes the cop was shooting at, but failed to hit his target while he ran away. At some point, he turned around, perhaps to surrender, and was then shot repeatedly.
The other goes a bit further and attributes a grazing shot to the arm as having actually come from behind, and the autopsy got it wrong. Note that if your arm is down and you are shot from behind, the wound would rip from back to front. If your arm is up and you are advancing, again the wound would rip from back to front of the arm.

Several witness say Wilson shot at Brown as he was running away. If we accept that, the autopsies would indicate that he missed every time, except for one possible graze.

This shooting result is why I suggested that Brown would have been a lot better off to keep running, rather than stopping, turning around, and trying to surrender.

And still, the only video evidence of the events of that day is the store vid of Brown. Nobody put a cell cam on this event so no pix of the encounter.

The strong arm robbery has nothing to do with the shooting. The issue is whether Wilson shot an unarmed man with his hands raised in the air. A man who may have been surrendering.

The events of the vid could certaunly have a bearing in Brown's reaction to the encounter and it's outcome. As I said it's the only video-corded evidence of the day's events, until something else comes forward.

Thank you for the clarification.

This might sound like a dumb question, but, how many bullets does the officer have in his gun? Can't they count the number of bullets used to determine if bullets were shot but missed hitting the victim? Or determine that every bullet used hit the victim?

Yes they can and certainly will account for every shot fired, and compare not only with wounds, but anywhere on the scene they can find evidence that a bullet struck.

The gun Wilson used was a Sig Sauer automatic, 12 round magazine, 13 if a round is carried in the chamber. So they can certainly determine how many rounds were fired and they already know that 6 hit Michael Brown. I suspect regardless of what he reports, Wilson will be accused of lying about how many rounds were in his gun.

Do you know what model?

A 12 round magazine sounds more like a .40 than a 9mm.
