Once Jeb's PR crew takes out ads during NASCAR races repeatedly emphasizing Trump's positions that vary with GOP/Fox/Talk Radio orthodoxy, his popularity will wane. They don't yet believe that they need to expend live bullets (i.e., lots of $$$) against Trump. They're still hoping/believing he'll self-destruct.

I'll be sad to see Trump go.

I won't. Despite the schadenfreude of seeing the GOPers squirm, Trump is an embarrassment to the country on a scale we haven't seen before. "W" was awful but Trump's much worse.

He's a sexist, a racist, a crashing boor, and an utter charlatan... a carnival barker hawking himself. He's also hopelessly out of his depth in politics and diplomacy.

I believe he is the man for the time.

We are already embarrassed by Clinton, Nixon and Dubya. Trump will not add
much in that department.

If you mean that Trump is the inevitable and tragic culmination of our decades long demeaning and denigrating of the President and the presidency, I agree. We have, for the most part, brought this on ourselves.
