It seems the harder we try, the worse the result. Accordingly, Obama's relative hands-off approach may be a winner as Saudi Arabia and Iran get busy issuing one way tickets to a paradise full of virgins for themselves and their proxies.

Concur. The Yemen conflict seems to be a precursor of something bigger. The Arabs and Egyptians are getting ready to bloody up the Iranians.

Israel and the US should keep their noses out of this Hatfield /McCoy feud.

Hopefully the Chinese and Russians would follow suit.

We should, however, ensure that all parties have enough conventional weapons to wipe each other out. As the saying goes "Kill 'em all and let Allah sort it out."

They will if we give them a few more billions and not mention Palestine. Better yet, they could become allied with the Arab League and join them to fight Iran and leave the US out of it.

They haven't managed to stay out of the Syrian conflict.

A scary thing about Israel in Syria is that it's exactly what ISIS wants.

Screw that. Apparently no one bothered to even try to educate themselves slightly, instead clining to their worn out and indefensable policial talking points. Let me post it again. The rise of sectarian battles in the Middle East was forseen over 20 years ago.

Gotta come up with something better that the above post Finn. In this case, the Dear Leader arsonist has a foreign policy that may only be pouring gasoline on the fire.
