When I was in Okinawa in 1990 they still had gas station attendants...
they would be in uniform and would bow once you were done and actually go out in the street and stop traffic so you could leave the station quickly.
American corporations would see that as a waste of potential profit.
It is not all the fault of the American worker.
I am Just saying the American Starting Out in the work force Has A high expectation Of a Job Position.But There Are Quite a few Young People Willing to Start from Scratch.In my Experience Your Best Buisness Owners Are the ones that worked their way up.I think what it comes down to is America Is just In A cozy position so they dont take things as serious as they should.

It is the single most defining issue of our age. I think that all things being equal our leaders have done a pretty good job of it, trying to tie China into the wests' system. This may be worth the economic disruption, I don't know.
