Time for some serious pearl clutching in the formerly 'solid' red districts along America's byways and backwaters.

El Trumpo Naranja promised the moon and the stars to these 'lost Americans' if they would only show up to put that Obama feller in his place. Turns out, President 'Shartcannon' never had the power nor the inclination to carry out their fondest 'The South Shall Rise Again' wet dreams of taking America back to the days of Jim Crow and segregated water fountains.

And if the Dems can capture the PA legislature many districts will become heavily gerrymandered in the opposite direction.

They'll likely be content with the (much more fair) court-drawn map.

This was the last gasp of 10 years of successful electoral chicanery in Pennsylvania, and the Republicans couldn’t boot their candidate home even with $10 million pumped into the district from the national party and from its vast reservoir of PACs and dark money. They couldn’t organize it. They couldn’t buy it. And they couldn’t steal it. That pretty much eliminates all possible ways Republicans generally win elections these days, and bringing in the president* for a last-ditch manic episode didn’t work, either. Not even the crazy was enough.
"In any event, they were not the words of the candidate described in a statement by Speaker Paul Ryan, the zombie-eyed granny starver from the state of Wisconsin. Ryan contended that Lamb really, sort of, almost ran as, you know, a Republican.
Keep whistling, Mr. Speaker. Lamb ran specifically on preserving and protecting the social safety-net programs you're so hell-bent on destroying. And, not for nothing, but do you know what congressional district is, theoretically, anyway, more Democratic than the one Conor Lamb won on Tuesday night?

Yours.

Sleep well."

Ol' Charlie sure has a way with words.

A resolution denouncing neo-Nazis dies in 36 seconds

Repubes in TN won’t even consider a simple measure denouncing Donny’s “good people”.

Ficken sore losers.

Now the Pennsylvania GOP'ers want to impeach the Democrats in their State Supreme Court. Scared shitless is what this is since they cannot win fair elections. Voter suppression or gerrymandering needed, preferably both.

Pennsylvania GOP Moves To Impeach Supreme Court Democrats For Gerrymandering Ruling

Quote:
A dozen GOP Pennsylvania lawmakers filed legislation on Tuesday to impeach four Democratic state Supreme Court justices who ruled the state’s congressional map was unconstitutionally gerrymandered and replaced it with a new one.

The Republicans moved to impeach Justices David Wecht, Christine Donahue, Kevin Dougherty and Debra McCloskey Todd, all Democrats who found the state’s congressional map was designed to favor Republicans and must be replaced before the May primary. Justice Max Baer (D), who also voted to strike down the map, but said it could remain in place until 2020, wasn’t mentioned in the impeachment resolutions.

The actor and comedian shared the image with the caption: “This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!”
