It's pretty one sided IMO although it is interesting to get a different view.

It looks like he might be too, apparently there is evidence that he pulled troops back from the border and fewer recent reports of special ops activity in the east.

I'd hate to be him Damned if he does (the west, sanctions, and credibility) and damned if he doesn't (popularity and opinion at home).

A big puzzle here. It is claimed that Chechens are fighting on the pro Russian side.

Given the Chechen/Russian conflicts, why would Chechens want to do that?

If true, they may be fighting for whomever is handing out paychecks. I'm not familiar with the local economic conditions or cultures. Just thinking out loud.

He is slick...seems to have been in most camps and past governments. Also
