I go hiking in that general area pretty often. Ever hike up to Maryland Heights overlooking Harpers Ferry from the MD side? Beautiful spot.

Back when I was heavy into hanging dead critters from my wall, my taxidermist lived in Burkitssville. I never did see that movie though. Not my cuppa.

One of the best! I used to drive through there a lot commuting between Baltimore and Summit Point. Love that area.

Yeah, there was that, plus I had forgotten how annoying a group of immature twentysomethings can be.

If I had been backpacking with them I would have kicked every one of their asses the first day out.

Just finished watching "The Last White Knight" on Netflix.

A really interesting documentary on racism.

I highly recommend it.

Priest - Pop

A Russian Orthodox priest tries to serve his flock despite the twin evil of Hitler and Stalin.

Director Vladimir Khotinenko takes his cue from Putin and Medvedev, whom he observe kissing the ring of the head of the church, and undertakes a favorable revision of the church's WW11 deeds.

In Russian and German with English subtitle.

You just convinced me to do that too so I went to Amazon. When I saw the price was $29.00 I decided to check eBay, just in tie to snag the last brand new complete second season for $18.00 whipped!

Wohoo!

Got an offer in on Season 3 too.

John

I kinda do not want to watch the series but read the books...but at 1000 pages each I might not ever get to it....are the books as good? Right now my goal is to complete War and Peace and then some King books
