I rented and watched American Sniper a couple of days ago. Pretty good, but I fail why it (like so many other things) resulted in such a political brouhaha.

I'm watching "You've Been Trumped" as I type.

It's sad to watch an American Capitalist go to such a beautiful, peaceful place and bully people out of their homes and off of their land.

"Compulsory Purchase". People who refused the money had their utilities shut off for weeks, eventually they were "detained and removed" and their homes bulldozed anyways. And, we have people in this country who don't see how giving such tyrants as Trump even more "freedom" results in the LOSS of their freedom and personal property? It's amazing.

After seeing a clip from HBO's "Newsroom" a few years back - here I think - I was very interested in the show. I have never subscribed to HBO, however. Last night I cued up Amazon Prime to watch one of the BC mysteries and up in the promotional box popped "Newsroom." I had to watch two episodes just to get started. The fast-paced intelligent dialogue reminded me of "West Wing." Then I realized that that the two are siblings, both sprung from Aaron Sorkin. I'm looking forward to the rest of the shows.

Regards,

D-Ray

Thinking about seeing a movie this weekend, we looked up Movie Bob's revue of Pixels online. I don't think he liked it.

Watched "Nightcrawler" the other night on Netflix.

It's one creepy movie, but it's damned good IMO.

Really makes you think.

Saw 'Flight of the Intruder' recently. Not bad for a flick about the lowly Grumman A-6 bomber in 'Nam.

Mebbe it's just me but I'm liking the new crop of sci-fi series such as 'Falling Skies' and 'Defiance'.

Just an old kid raised on Heinlein, Asimov and Ray Bradbury, I guess.

Oh...and if you get HBO? You should be watching 'Brink'.
