How do you know when a Republican is lying?

When his lips are moving.

He is a pretty smart guy he might wake up one morning and decide to ditch the big lie. However if he turns out to be too much like his old man I think people will eventually get tired of him. Who knows maybe he is already funneling pork to Texas just no one has noticed. That is what McConnell is really good at..why Kentucky always re-elects him.

What kills me is how people say it will force employers not to hire full time workers over 40 hours so they can avoid being responsible for providing health insurance.

I have seen that going out here in Cali for years.

That's right, nothing new. Of course the only answer to that is to eliminate the need for employer sponsored healthcare altogether........through single-payer. Leaving it to their good nature to provide is a fools venture, as so many of them have no good nature to speak of.

Bingo!

Single payer is the only way and the quicker the better. Employers have no business in employees lives past their work shift.

I can't figure out why so many people believe the BS about SinglePayer that BigPharma and others pays OpEd writers to publish. I saw top of the line speci@lists whenever I needed them, made my own doctor's appointments at time convenient for me. I have wasted more time in Waiting (So called Emergency) Rooms here than I ever did back there. And at 82 I do not take prescription drugs, mainly because I got preventative care, nobody pays for that down here.

My biggest disappointment with this administration has been not going with a single payer system with health care.

I believe we will get their some day, the sooner, the better.

Well Barbara we may get there yet, as Churchill observed "The fine thing about Americans is that you can always count on them to do the right thing - after they have tried every conceivable alternative first."

And with Max Baucus in charge what else could we expect.

My biggest disappointment with this administration is that they resemble the previous administration more every day. My greatest source of amusement is that the right hates them for it.

Self loathing, anyone?
