You have to experience rush hour traffic in the D.C. metro area to understand this poll Was. It was hideous before I bailed in '80 and came home.

That's a good question that wasn't covered in the survey. I suppose one could deduce that if work/biz is in the top reasons they want to leave, it may also have something to do with why they can't.
Must be hard to earn a decent living there, even if you are educated.

Or maybe they could move but don't realize it. Seems like a stretch though- if they're well educated, you'd think they'd have enough sense to grasp their own situation and available options.
Then again, book smart and common sense aren't often found together.
