I would say after the mess Congress is going through, there might be a better chance for a Governor to get the presidential nod vs. a congressman or senator.

I never thought they could get below a 10% approval rating. I was wrong, it's now at 5% and it's the Repugnant party that is getting the lion's share of the blame.

Much as I would like to be wrong, there isn't much of a chance of my party gaining 30 seats in the House due to some fairly extreme gerrymandering but hey, a guy can dream.

With the general public attention span being what it is, if this fiasco ends by next August it will probably be forgot by election time.

It's obviously way too early to call, but I'm thinking the Dems may pick up a few seats at best. It's not really Reps per se, that I'd like to see go. It's the Tea Party blowhards that I'd love to see get the heave-ho. And, I think that sentiment may be growing. At least I hope it is.
