You haven't done much research on your conclusion. There is evidence everywhere through video and interviews with the people who were there. Here is one of thousands.

I don't give a tinker's dam who was interviewd, and comments regarding temperature could only be guesses as I strongly doubt that anyone had a thermometer of adequate range and accuracy.
