There is definitely no reason for me to get flu shots, as George Carlton and I both swam in the Hudson River, giving us both total immunity to everything !

Beside, the voices in my head, that must be obayed told me so !

Medicare does not pay for preventative medicine so the doc sees me maybe every three years, I went 16 years when I first came down here,

Every year I get the newest model. Even a couple of Pneumonia shots over the years. Thinking of getting the Shingles vaccine next week, thanks for reminding me.


At my age getting shingles is a possibility and would like to be missed by it.

Seriously though, I get my flu shot as soon as I see the sign up at Walgreens. I can't remember the last time I had the flu. As for the shot, the damn thing makes my arm pretty sore for about two days, not sure why.

I've gotten them every year now for about 15 years. I caught a kickass flu back then and I became a believer in the shots.
