14 shots? That's OK Corral action, there. A regular massacre. It's amazing there weren't a half dozen dead at that rate, unless someone was a horrible shot, anyhow. I dunno, and elderly woman, popping up with this revelation 44 years after the fact? I'd take it with a grain of salt.

I agree, but her story doesn't sound all that crazy.

Yeah, but take into account that the shooting occured in a hotel kitchen, complete with tiles, cinderblock walls, pots and pans hanging everywhere, stainless steel tables and appliances.....ricochets, echoes on top of people shouting and screaming, chaos. Counting shots would have been tough.

But, then again, all of that confusion would make it easier for a second shooter to slip away.......
