Rising Black Support For Trump; A Danger Zone For Democrats.

"If Black support for Trump gets into double figures, then Democrats will have to look for different themes than Russia, Stormy Daniels..."

As if those are the only 'themes.' In any case the idea of burgeoning black support is a recurring fantasy of conservatives, makes for an entertaining Federalist piece for them, nothing more.

As the present posture of the GOP is white nationalism, how hard could it be to make that point?

No substance to the arguments in the article?

Anecdotally I have observed a lessening of anti Trump fervor from young blacks, especially since Kanye West.

What is apparent to me is that Trump is resilient. If Trump achieves a mid forties approval rating by mid term the Dems will face a red wall.

Of some significance:
The Dems have lost the immigration argument.

There is no major economic argument with unemployment this low.

The Korea situation is a plus for Trump.

Mueller after all this time has not shown anything relating to the kernel of his mandate.

The DNC seems to be ineffective.

Be careful, Trump might be a 2 term president.

The Nazis have been largely stuffed back into their bubble. The high profile speeches on campuses, let alone the Charlottesville things, are no more seen. that will knock down some people's fervor. But mass defection to the GOP? Not reality.

As for the rest, the more Trump imitators win primaries, the better. You'll see.
