Taking Back The Senate In '16

The Repubs are defending 25 seats versus the Democrats' 10 seats.

Here's a good sign out of Wisconsin, former senator Feingold-D is heavily favored to retire Ron Johnson-R(TP) in November.

I think the Ds will take the Senate back but it's going to be a lot tougher to take back the House because there's no 2.5:1 advantage in contested seats and, of course, there's the Gerrymander.

Exactly. The House will remain Republican until the Democratic party goes after the state legislatures prior to the next census and redistricting.

Personally, I'd like to see redistricting taken out of the politicians hands altogether.

The GOP will give up Gerrymandering when it is pried from their cold dead fingers.

Shssssh, Dems control the Senate and the Oval office in 2017, just think what kind of nominee will get the nod for Supreme Court! The GOP might be making a big mistake not going with an Obama appointee.....

Who is and who is not favored means nothing. What counts is how well the state has been gerrymandered. The state can be majority democrat but if it has been gerrymandered properly, the republicans are guaranteed wins.
