Bank of America loses suit over bad loans

http://www.latimes.com/business/mone...,1708306.story

On top of JP Morgan's recent $13 billion settlement deal, BofA just lost their trial over shenanigans during the 2008 meltdown of the US economy.

Maybe there is a little justice after all.

Little yes, it's better than nothing. I doubt it is much of a deterrent though.

That did not surprise me given who was involved. Back when we still had a mortgage ours was bundled with a bunch of others, no doubt because of our high credit score to make the package palatable. So we woke up one day to find ourselves in the arms of Countrywide. Needless to say we soon learned what a crappy lot they were and re-mortgaged.
