Nope. The premiums for health insurance that an individual or small group policy has nothing to do with the cost that the Fed and / or the states will have to pick up to implement Obamacare. THAT is the cost that continues to rise, the cost that Harry Reid promised would come in at less than $1 trillion but won't.

The states and the Feds already pick up that cost in the most inefficient and costly way possible. It's called Medicaid (medi cal in California).
Re directing that money to pay for health care up front with an emphasis in preventative care will save money.
