An acceptable death if it helps Grizzly Dad make his point.

"Gebhard threw a 50-pound concrete planter through the window and entered the Lakeshire residence as the officer’s wife, mother-in-law and two young children struggled to escape through a bedroom window, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said. The off-duty officer shot and killed Gebhard."

Sorry, I don't see a tragedy here, I see a disaster averted. This man used his 2nd amendment right to protect women and children from a mortal threat. I don't want to think about what might have happened had he not been stopped.

As has been the case with every other incident, details change as more info comes in. Turns out this specimen didn't throw a 50 lb. planter through the window. It was 112 lbs. And the resident let him get 10 to 15 feet into the house before he stopped him.

"...the officer said he was dispatched to a convenience store after getting a complaint about a subject "on the corner selling CDs" and that the subject had pulled a gun on someone."

We're all familiar with this by now, I'm sure. It's the Alton Sterling story.

Except it's from 2009.

Has anyone ever stopped to wonder why the police have this unnatural fear for black civilians?

Sterling's memorial service is Friday and Obama will send a rep.
I'm sure whoever it is will lecture his family and friends for half an hour on the problems in their community that led to his unfortunate death.
