Whelly has never served in the military, where you are expected to do essentially the same job worldwide, for dirt pay, and get held responsible for all you do.

I don't see too many people whining about the poor soldiers, unless it is the Repubs who bitch and moan that they don't want to pay what they promised to the vets, nor staff the VAs to the appropriate levels.

Cops have a bitch of a job. Not only do they have to face the prospect of getting shot when doing a routine part of their job, but then they get to listen to the media, and some wonderful folks like you, second guess them and call them every name in the book.

Hope this is a reminder of what some folks do to keep some of you safe so you can sit comfortably in your homes and hate them for it.
You might want to do a better job of hiding your glee when something tragic happens, allowing you to advance one of your talking points.

Regards,

D-Ray

I agree with you.
Talk about advancing a talking point. Just one false accusation in MO my ass. Checked on Ferguson PD lately or for that matter the scrutiny on other for profit PD's in towns with large black populations?

This is a cheap shot from an unfortunate incident.

Spin-master - if you're finding any glee in my message, its because you're projecting it there.

Cheap shot? Hardly. Go back and peruse the venom that various forum members have leveled against all police based on the actions of a few. You'll see plenty of "cheap shots" in those comments.

In the meantime, we have two officers dead. The perps shot them, left them for dead, and used their police cruiser as a get-away vehicle. One was a 25 year old kid that had recently joined the force. The other was a husband and father of two. Spectacularly tragic. Yet here we are three pages into this thread, and there has been not one post from anyone in this forum with even a passing mention of sympathy for the slain cops. That's tragic too.

That's BS and you know it. Your OP wasn't intended to elicit any sympathy for the slain officers. Instead you utilized it to make a point about media and the "haters" here. You got the response you sought, and now you just sound self-righteous. If you really want to shock the people around here, you might try to inject a little honesty into your work product.

No you won't. You're just lying about the people you don't like, as usual.

For 'plenty,' let's see links to three. Or shut up.
