Here's an interesting tidbit - If you look at the Electoral College map of this election, the GOP scarcely won a state outside of the old Confederacy that has a major urban metropolis. In other words, they won Dixie and the empty spaces.
But..but..but..sputter what happens to the newly renewed Texas A&M V. Arkansas rivalry now that they are in the SEC.

They're not resisting "government". They're resisting the existing federal government, whilst planning to set up their own tyrannical form of government that reeks of utter fealty to private oligarchic Plutocracy.

No thanks. I'll take the tyrant I can vote for, or against as the case may be, over the unelected rich guy and his good ol' boy network any day.

Regards,
Dave

It is an interesting breakdown, and does raise many questions. Economically, what kind of shape would a divided US be in?

John
Looks like every state wants to secede. I noticed the lowest vote count was for the "regulate Internet pornography" petition.

Further evidence of the level of maturity in thought by the GOP. The GOP's favorite economist, Grover Norquist, who developed his economic theory in junior high, said that Obama won because he called Romney a "poopyhead."
