And nobody has to worry about the German elections in September. The winner will be (most likely) Merkel. I do not like her but I like the idea of democratic continuity in political stormy weather.

Two world wars and one genocide are enough. Germany is and will remain the safe port of democracy located in the center of Europe.

I'm sorry, sir, but who is "he"?

However, Merkel's opponent is Schulz, his party SPD is left of Merkel's party CDU, so Germany's democratic future is for sure.

I'm guessing Rob is talking about Pres. Macron and the upcoming French parliament elections.

Yes I was referring to Macron, however he seems to have many people wanting to run in the general election for his new party.
