If Corporations = People, ...

... then People = Corporations.

Here's a hilarious riff on this notion. I thought of Rob when I saw this last night.

Given the admiration expressed here for German engineering I wonder how many people realize, for example, that Siemens has some of its workers on the Board of Directors. I wonder how many workers here belong to the local Chamberpot of Commerce. For that matter I wonder how many workers would even be welcomed by their local C of C?

Well, the local C of C has been sending me letters trying to get me to join up, being I'm a corporate executive and all.

I think they just want my money.

And I also know for a fact they'd be goddamn sorry they ever heard of me if I took to showing up at their meetings blind drunk.

Which is the only way I could bear to go.

When Florence had her business she did belong to the local C0C but considering that she once threw Standard and Poor's people out of her office I guess they were not too happy with her.
