I wouldn't be here if I couldn't see the beauty in it Pat.. THe city does afford a lot of really cool things..
We drive up GW parkway from Mt. Vernon every day, and we still are amazed at the beauty... But then we get to the office and see the ugly underbelly... :tears:

The tears of a million Americans upset with the status quo.
Rain.. but with the distances we can see from our buildings, it's really cool watching the rain storms roll in and around. I can see the National Cathedral, Arlington Cemetary, Mason Temple, Kennedy Center and lots more from the roof of my building. I go up to smoke a lot...

It's a black drone helicopter.. I do live in the national capitol ya know
Honestly some day's I'll see 10 or more different government owned choppers.. and to see an Osprey fly down the river over the Watergate... SWEET TREAT!!!!! Last week I was siting on COnstitution between the monument and the whitehouse and three Marine choppers came over. What a surreal feeling watching them and seeing the president fly over you and land... no more than 200 feet above you. (I did show him I thought he was #1 )
