They could use carbon monoxide. Person would not feel distressed, would not struggle. Of course, the cruelty is the point.

Why not just administer a 25 cal. round fired into the head right behind the ear. It's quick, cheap and efficient but as you say, the cruelty.

I'm hearing the nitrogen administration was botched or sabotaged. Should have worked quickly.

Nitrous Oxide through a face mask, like they used to use at the dentist office.

Just gradually cut back on the oxygen. The person being executed will relax, enjoy it.

Isn't "vote" an inanimate object?
Of course, this is yet another "I am a victim" rant while placing himself in the top 2% of his flock. Absolutely brilliant strategy for a flock of brainless wonders.

The flock will just be happy that he's smarter than they.

The Death Penalty has always been a conundrum for me. One side feels it is wrong to take anyone's life. Then also feel there needs to be punishment and suffering for those who kill others.

So I do believe in a death penalty only do not know if I could ever impose one on another.

As to the manner of the execution, does it matter if the results all end in the death? There is never going be one way with everyone agreeing on being humane. Having to think for years and years of what may or may not happen on death row itself is torture it would seem.

There needs to a punishment attached even retribution vengeance associated with any crime. Also rehabilitation and reform.

Like stated I'm conflicted on what the best way to handle these decisions.

Carbon monoxide may be the most humane method in cases where there is no doubt about guilt and the circumstances indicate lack of credible remorse and no likelihood of redemption.
Poor standards of conviction put me in the fence of an irreversible false conviction consequence.
