The less I know about things which aren't of my concern the better I like it.
Even if they are of my concern, I don't wish to know any more than absolutely necessary.
And if it's a secret, keep it so and don't involve me.
I'm perfectly happy to blunder through life with a dumb look on my face. I've also noticed that most situations tend to take care of themselves without me becoming directly involved.
I have a strong dislike to being party to other people's problems, as I don't believe it's ever ended well for me. And seldom has it helped them in the least.
As a rule, people don't wish for help, they wish to share their misery.

I would not count Obama out just yet.
I could handle the first Bush and Ford. I sort of disqualified those that were re-elected for a second term.

Whenever I look at my own failings, I have difficulty expecting perfection from anyone else. Presidents included.

Yeah, I thought Tiger should have retired after his first Masters. He couldn't go anywhere but down.

I'm saying he's a politician and a patriot.

Yup.
You sure are one different Missourian, Chas. I suspect you aren't native to the 'Show Me' state?

Tell me about that, back in my road warrior days I swore that my collar was on backwards many times. Perfect strangers would tell me all their troubles. There were times when I wondered if I was in an airline seat or a confessional.

At times I do enjoying hearing about other people's problems whenever the worse things get for them, the funnier they find it.
