@SethAbramson
It's too much to hope for, but the idea of a Cohen plea and a Manafort guilty verdict on the same day is like a hot fudge sundae sitting on a rainbow

"President Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty Tuesday in a Manhattan courthouse to eight violations of banking, tax and campaign finance laws in a federal investigation that scrutinized his business dealings and his efforts to silence women with negative stories about Trump.
In an appearance in a Manhattan courthouse Tuesday afternoon, Cohen pleaded to five counts of tax evasion, one count of making a false statement to a bank and two campaign finance violations: making an unlawful corporate campaign contribution and making an excessive campaign contribution." WaPo

WITCH HUNT!
I’m afraid of what the idiot will do next, and what the “oversight” cowards in Congress will allow him to get away with...

Cohen's plea included at statement that the payoffs were made "with the knowledge and direction of the candidate." And that the payments "were made to influence the election." Cohen's lawyer Lanny Davis tweeted that his client identified Trump as directing him to make the payoffs.
Trump may or may not be able to be indicted. There is no law protecting a sitting president from indictment, only DOJ "policy." Law is difficult to change. Policy can change at the drop of a hat. At this point Trump, at the very least, would be an "unindicted co-conspirator." Is ordering a violation of campaign finance law a high crime or misdemeanor? Of course it is, it's a felony.

(CNN) - The Democratic National Committee contacted the FBI on Tuesday after it detected what it believes was the beginning of a sophisticated attempt to hack into its voter database, a Democratic source tells CNN.
The DNC was alerted in the early hours of Tuesday morning by a cloud service provider and a security research firm that a fake login page had been created in an attempt to gather usernames and passwords that would allow access to the party's database, the source said.
