one1, I thought 'We Were Soldiers' was pretty good.

I thought it was excellent. Any movie wherein Gibson keeps his religious hypocrisy to a reasonable level is usually pretty good.

I had the same impression. The story line was hokey as hell. But the effects were excellent.

I thought it was great on 3D IMAX. It might not have enough of a story to hold together as well on DVD.
