They used to but I don't feel any particular need to be in the middle of it. If the Capital display is not exciting enough Charm City is having a biggie at the Harbour.

I will be headed to downtown Norfolk for the Fireworks. I usually park on top the Dominion Tower parking garage. But, this year, I'll prolly be down in the crowd.
That way I can get me a funnel cake, WOOT, WOOT!!!!!

I'm gonna light up the holler through the hills here in the sticks late tonight. Probly shoot the 12 ga. several times too, just to make the overhead lightshow sound more powerfull for the fokes living up ahead.

Hi westgate, Burlington, brings back memories we used to drive down along the Richelieu and go picnicing and swimming in Lake Champlain. All the talk of late about borders, I recall one border crossing, believe it was on the road that runs through the islands in the north of the lake. The customs post was only manned in the summer, so after labour day you were told when driving through it to report to the nearest 'open' customs post. Of course we always did that.
