Chris Christie Tears Into Trump’s Legal Team: ‘A National Embarrassment’
“As much as I’m a strong Republican and I love my party, it’s the country that has to come first,” the former New Jersey governor said.

Christie, a Republican and longtime adviser to Trump, condemned the president for making claims of widespread voter fraud without presenting any evidence, adding that it’s time for Trump to concede the election to Biden.

“The conduct of the president’s legal team has been a national embarrassment,” Christie, an ABC News political analyst, said during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week.”

He torched Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell for accusing Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) of “a crime on television.” During an interview with conservative outlet Newsmax on Saturday, Powell baselessly claimed Kemp, a Trump ally, was bribed by a voting machine company in a conspiracy to defeat Trump.

“This is outrageous conduct by any lawyer,” Christie said. “And notice ... they won’t do it inside the courtroom. They allege fraud outside the courtroom but when they go inside the courtroom, they don’t plead fraud and they don’t argue fraud.”

GOP’s Guadagno: It’s time for Trump to move on Opinion
Former Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno says that allowing President Trump to continue his campaign to undermine this election while denying President-elect Biden access to critical intelligence on the pandemic and national security, while Republicans sit on their hands, is not only cowardly and shameless but it poses a risk to the health and safety of our citizens.

Governor Larry Hogan @GovLarryHogan

If you had done your job, America's governors wouldn't have been forced to fend for themselves to find tests in the middle of a pandemic, as we successfully did in Maryland.

Stop golfing and concede.

Governor Larry Hogan basically said on CNN this morning Repub's in congress were cowards for not acknowledging President-Elect Biden by saying there were no profiles in courage going on. I think it's not so much cowardice as it is the beginning of denying Biden any successes in office. They (the GOP) tried to some degree with President Obama and they're trying it again with Biden. Party before country.

At the dawn of the third week of "the great denial" it's becoming clear that the Republican Party simply does not care about the American people. Their power and $$ are what is important to them. Not the millions of infected Americans, not the hundreds of thousand that will die from this pandemic, not the lives ruined by economic catastrophe and the hardships millions of Americans are facing, not the hundreds of thousands of Americans in food lines, not the damage to our political system and the distrust it sows, not the America that remains deeply divided, not our standing on the world stage, none of it. They have a certain amount of power and the backing of 70 or 80 million Americans (votes) and they have no intention of giving that up. Burn the crops and salt the earth. If they really had any concern for the American people would they be doing what they're doing now?
