The 2024 election results will determine which faction controls the Senate, McConnell/Thune faction or the Hawley/Paul/Cruz faction, who is the equivalent of the Freedumb caucus in the House. No unanimous choice now or later.

So many very old people in politics are propped up by followers who dread their retirement. The followers fear losing the associative power and wealth.

At times it seems like an abuse of the elderly.
