Here is some proof to Rudy's bizarre behavior. First he agreed signed a statement not to contest claims he made about the mother and daughter election workers in Georgia. Then yesterday, he did an about face during his trial.

In an interview outside the courthouse on Monday night, Giuliani claimed that “everything I said about them” — the two women — “was true.”

“Of course I don’t regret it,” Giuliani said. “I told the truth. They were engaged in changing votes.”

And here is judge and his lawyer's take on this.

The judge in the case issued a swift rebuke on Tuesday morning, saying Giuliani’s statement’s might support a new defamation claim and questioning whether Giuliani would follow court orders when testifying. Giuliani’s lawyer struggled to account for his client’s actions, suggesting his advanced age was a factor.

More than advanced age, he has gone blotto, period.

According to Politico's Kyle Cheney, who live-tweeted the closing arguments, Giuliani's attorney, Joe Sibley, took a highly unusual course as he attempted a legal Hail Mary to evoke "sympathy" from the jury.

No wants a definition of who Rudy is today. its about what he will have to pay in damages which is what this lawsuit is about. Very much doubt if the women see a penny out of this settlement. Rudy is broke, or so he says and will appeal to buy time and hide his money.

Damn shame he can't be jailed and his assets immediately seized. As long as he remains free and allowed to keep repeating his lies those two poll workers remain at risk.

Sadly, doubt they will even get a few thousand from the judgement. There will be appeals, bankruptcy filings to no end. At least this is a moral victory for the mother and daughter. Of course, they can put liens on Rudy's fixed assets and in the end, lawyers will make most of the money.

That now makes $900 million in damages to two entities held liable for spreading Trump's lies (Fox and Rudy) and much more to come. Yet wingnut media still carries his lies and the House GOP keeps telling them (and people like Whell still believe them). Sad.

I think there is a misconception in people that those in Rudy's universe which includes Trump actually believe that the 2020 election was stolen and that they were trying to correct a wrong. In reality they figured out that if they keep repeating that the election was stolen, they will find a large enough audience in the MAGA world. In fact they found a larger audience than they could have ever imagined including more than half of the GOP House members.

This has translated to millions and millions of money raised and continues to this day. So in reality this is not just election interference since they do not have a hope of ever flipping the results, its all about raising money from the ignorant MAGA masses. Politicians and political operatives have found a cash cow and have milked it and continue to do so. Most of them will get to keep the money with a few suffering the consequences like Rudy, mostly because of their own stupidity like allowing Trump to stiff him for services rendered. Sidney Powell also raised Millions and nothing of any real consequence has happened to her and there are dozens of others.
