You're going to find people on both sides, suggesting the nation would be better off without the other sides ideology. I don't know any progs that have told me we would be better off without conservatism. One reason is because some of them like to claim they are more conservative in specific areas. Well they obviously can't expect one to swallow that, and at the same time wishing conservatism was gone entirely.
