Here's what everyone should start doing;
You go through the line letting them poke, probe, inspect every crack-n-crevice you possess. When they're done, you walk around and get back in line. When they ask why you got back in line, just wink and smile. Dave

I think that international travel should be tougher than domestic travel. I think detention and forensic examination of equipment without cause is going too far, but I the article didn't really elaborate on cause. The problem is difficult to resolve. I have been pulled over 3 times in my life by the police, once at gunpoint, because my car "matched the description" of someone they were looking for. The one at gunpoint I would tend to believe, the other two IMO were just excuses because they wanted to pull someone over at 2AM.

Why has just about everyone tried to make this an issue of "Shall we have security or not?" We shall.
Looking for weapons and bombs is a reasonable search under the circumstances. A fishing expedition for evidence is not. Anyone who doesn't get that doesn't get the 4th Amendment.
