Donny SO wants the same adulation, which he truly believes he deserves, but he wasn’t even invited to this fab party. Nothing to do but tweet right wingnut nonsense and right wing polls claiming he’s not really hated. His Trumpkins surely know he’s a better man than some captured soldier!

Meghan McCain

“We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness," McCain said. "The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who live lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served."

In describing her father's love and devotion to his country, McCain invoked Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again" to hit back at the president.

"The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great," McCain said

He noted that McCain “championed a free and independent press that’s vital to our democratic debate,” a clear swipe at Trump’s repeated attacks on the news media.

And taking on politics directly, Obama addressed Trump without ever saying his name.
“So much of our politics can seem small and mean and petty. Trafficking in bombast and insult, phony controversies and manufactured outrage. It’s a politics that pretends to be brave and tough, but is instead born of fear. John called on us to be bigger than that, to be better that that,” Obama said. “Today is only one day in all the days that will ever be, but what will happen in all the other days will depend on what you do today. What better way to honor John McCain than follow his example.”

Poll: Democrats regain clear advantage in midterms shaping up as referendum on Donny

Registered voters say they favor the Democratic candidate over the Republican candidate in their district by 52 percent to 38 percent. That is a marked increase from the four-point edge in an April Post-ABC poll but similar to the 12-point advantage Democrats enjoyed in January.

Down to how much GOP voter suppression and Russian interference will there be. Donny’s minions are cultists, with a huge right wing media machine willing to lie, distort, confuse. It won’t be pretty.

Woodward offers a devastating portrait of a dysfunctional Trump White House, detailing how senior aides — both current and former Trump administration officials — grew exasperated with the President and increasingly worried about his erratic behavior, ignorance and penchant for lying.

Chief of staff John Kelly describes Trump as an "idiot" and "unhinged," Woodward reports. Defense Secretary James Mattis describes Trump as having the understanding of "a fifth or sixth grader." And Trump's former personal lawyer John Dowd describes the President as "a fucking liar," telling Trump he would end up in an "orange jump suit" if he testified to special counsel Robert Mueller.

"He's an idiot. It's pointless to try to convince him of anything. He's gone off the rails. We're in crazytown," Kelly is quoted as saying at a staff meeting in his office. "I don't even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I've ever had."
