Still don't like that song, but I really like what they do with it, if that makes any sense.....

Outstanding. Hillbillies handcrafted a lot of the components of USA's rocket programs. I imagine that rocket science for them was actually more of an outlet for their want of craftsmanship than a satisfaction of a science interest. It is also easy for me to imagine that Elton John and Bernie Taupin's lyrics strike a lasting chord in their community.

I like the original and don't particularly care for what they did to it. So I guess what you said sorta makes sense.
