Didn't catch the US statement in your link, then?
We're against the death penalty for homosexuality. Thing up for vote was anti-death penalty for anything.
Now I'd vote for that, but it's unfair to cast it the way your meme does.

Here's what I think. Nothing is unfair when it comes to this asshole or any asshole who works for him. You wanna play fair go right ahead. Not me. I will take the slightest Trump miscue and twist it like a pretzel into an affront to all humanity. Because Trump and all those who have chosen to work for him...are, by their existence, affronts to all humanity.
Besides...the resolution specifically identified use of the death penalty in cases of same sex relationships.
Quote:
Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, says the U.S. vote against a U.N. Human Rights Council resolution condemning the use of the death penalty for same-sex relations is the same one made under the Obama administration in 2014 — but that’s not quite accurate.
Haley tweeted twice about the matter Tuesday evening, in the wake of news coverage about the Friday vote on the resolution, which also condemns application of the death penalty for such things as adultery and blasphemy, along with the execution of minors and people with intellectual disabilities, and calls on nations to consider abolishing it altogether. Twenty-seven countries voted in favor of it, 13 against.

In a separate tweet, Haley also noted that the U.S. voted "no" to the resolution under the Obama administration, though the specific mention of "same-sex relations' was not included in previous death penalty resolutions.

And this country along with 12 other pretty much piece of shit countries voted "no."

Nothing new to see here. Move along, folks.
The only thing I'd suggest is a change to the above. As this post suggests, you twist things that aren't necessarily "miscues" either.

The bolded was a significant addition to the proposal. Should have got considered on that basis.

OK, we have a significant variance in fact claims.
Haley in her video claimed, if I recall, that the resolution would have been a vote for abolishing the death penalty altogether.
The apparent reporting that Ike quotes in #5 says the resolution only called for states to "consider" abolishing the death penalty altogether.
I believe 'nameless sourceless but sounds like legitimate reporting' claims before I believe any claim by any Trump minion. My apologies, Ike, I now believe you are 100% correct.

And therein lies the issue.
Now, from NBC News:
Jessica Stern, executive director of OutRight Action International, a global LGBTQ human rights organization, acknowledged the U.S. vote on the U.N. resolution was misconstrued.
"There's been some misreporting and misconceptions," Stern told NBC News. "The U.S. always opposes this death penalty resolution, because it makes reference to a global moratorium on the death penalty. For both Obama and Trump, so long as the death penalty is legal in the U.S., it takes this position."
"OutRight will call out the Trump administration on its many rights violations, its many abuses of power from LGBTI violations to xenophobia, but this particular instance is not an example of a contraction of support on LGBTI rights," Stern continued. "It would be a mistake to interpret its opposition to a death penalty resolution to a change in policy."
So much for believing "nameless sourceless but sounds like legitimate reporting" news stories.

No problem. On another forum I've been arguing somewhat wrongly for days about the illegality of the "modified" weapons used in the Las Vegas massacre. Early news reports indicated "illegal modifications" that made the assault rifles fully automatic. And it turns out the mods were "bump stocks" which for some insane fucking reason are legal everywhere, and which any homicidal psychopath can buy on probably a hundred websites.
