I don't even have a problem with someone refusing to consider him simply because he has said what he has said knowing that it was rhetoric. His language was a complete sellout to the right so reject him for that.

I always look to why people do what they do, not what they do. I am not saying that is a good or bad way to look at things... probably bad. But it's how I am.
If he chooses to appeal to racism and xenophobia to garner votes, he deserves the label "racist," regardless of what is in his heart. I can't tell what's in his heart, but I can recognize his actions for what they are.

FWIW, not playing the "race card" against Trump would be political malpractice.

Isn't Trump leading in the polls because he is a racist and projecting himself as such in a not too subtle fashion? Why beat around the bush?

Anti Obama (birther and by extension blacks), Hispanics (build a wall to keep out rapists and murderers) and Muslims (terrorists in our midst). Kill families of terrorists as revenge though he has retracted that position since yesterday.

None of the White Supremacists/Nationalists is foolish enough to think that Whitaker has a snowflake's chance in Hell of ever becoming President. Trump, on the other hand, is a much better bet just about now.
