Listening to FZ's "Everything Is Healing Nicely" (EIHN), thanks to Chris' recommendation and very fast delivery from NC.

Fantastische!

I think that, of all the bands Frank worked with, his last was the one whose musical vision most closely coincided with his own, the German avant garde chamber orchestra Ensemble Modern.

Tree Machines released the full EP yesterday. I think Black and Blue is my favorite.

Frank said it would have been so great if he would have had the possiblity earlier to work together with musicians like the Ensemble Modern.

How would you have liked to have been present to see the relationship between Kretzschmar and FZ?

I fear that I do not understand this sentence entirely. But I know that Frank and Kretzschmar really liked each other, not only as artists, but personally. I think that a cooperation of these artists would have been very fruitful. I am still waiting for the release of further FZ "Neue Musik" compositions. I do not understand where the problem is. For sure there is a mass of material in the archives of the Frank Zappa Family Trust. I don't think that Dweezil is the spoilsport, it is Gail, the fat old turkey...

That's what I was getting at. Their connection is obvious in the work they did together. I think it would have been a lot of fun to hang out with them.

I think you're right. Gail's a bit..... 'off', IMO.
