Pretty sure I heard that San Diego runs about 3rd in the nation for rent costs, behind NY and SF. There is a place down here by Shelter Island that you can moor a sailboat for around 170 bucks a month. Cheapest thing I have seen since I have been down here. It has been a fun trip, but I will be happy to be home tomorrow. Getting ready to do my last bit o' fun and rent a wave runner for a while.

Of course there's always the option of a van down by the river. Actually, they have a temporary spot to crash in San Diego.
