But they did pass a continuing budget resolution good through Dec. 11, 2014.

According to a bit on NPR, the new kids figured it out and gave up the immature acting-out to join the grownups. They may actually want to win an election that matters.

I was a little surprised that the Suicide caucus gave up on tilting at the Import/Export bank this time around. There's always next year, I guess.

That guy from Princeton, Dr. Wang, seems to think the Dems will hold the Senate. Still a toss up in my book. Either way '16 is going to go very bad for the Repugnants by what I'm reading.

The Kansas Supreme court turned down a desperate last ditch effort by the SOS to force the Dem back on the ballot. Now he's trying to force the Kansas democratic party to choose another candidate, the Dems are laughing. I mean, how can he force the party to pick a candidate?

Kansas is just loony under Brownback.

It would be wild if the GOP lost the governorship and a Senate seat in Kansas, of all places. Brownback had a free rein to implement GOP economic policy and screwed his state over royally in the process.
